01. The Challenge
Industrial companies need solutions that go beyond traditional machine supervision. Real time operational data must be processed close to the asset, transformed into actionable insights, and exposed through interfaces that support faster decisions on the shop floor. At the same time, industrial environments require more flexible architectures to acquire PLC data, standardize machine signals, deploy applications dynamically, and maintain visibility from edge to cloud without adding unnecessary complexity to operations.
02. The Solution
Through their partnership, SECO and Reply developed complementary industrial solutions that make edge systems smarter, more interactive and easier to manage.
The first solution turns an industrial HMI from a traditional visualization interface into an intelligent edge platform. Reply designed and integrated the application layer: a touch-based dashboard that shows real-time machine parameters such as temperature, vibration, pressure, OEE, output rate and run or stop states. On top of this, edge AI algorithms provide predictive diagnostics, anomaly detection and maintenance recommendations directly on the device. Analysis runs with low latency, and operators get guidance close to the machine.
The second solution is built around COM Express modules for software-defined industrial automation. Data from industrial PLCs is acquired, standardized and processed locally by Reply’s industrial application layer, which publishes machine data via MQTT and turns raw signals into structured real-time information. Industrial assets become more adaptive and connected, while core processing stays at the edge.
Both solutions run on the Clea ecosystem. Applications are deployed and managed as containerized workloads through Clea App Hub and Device Manager. Data Orchestrator and a custom Data Viewer application handle secure data collection, live visualization, trend analysis and operational monitoring across the full architecture. The partnership brings local intelligence, flexible software and edge-to-cloud visibility together in one operational framework.

03. The Results
