Riello UPS transitioned its power management infrastructure to a connected ecosystem by leveraging the Clea framework. Through a customized platform implementation, the company now offers advanced remote monitoring, real-time telemetry, and historical energy analytics across its entire range of uninterruptible power supplies, providing both business and consumer users with enhanced digital services and operational oversight.

01. The Challenge

Riello UPS needed to offer its customers an advanced system to remotely monitor the status of uninterruptible power supplies, access operational data over time, and activate new digital services to support the product.

02. The Solution

With Clea, Riello UPS was able to rely on a dedicated and customized instance of the platform, designed to collect and visualize real-time telemetry for the entire range of devices, historize energy data, and make logs and events available through specific applications integrated into the portal. The solution included dashboards dedicated to the current status of the UPS, data views and charts for analyzing current and historical energy statistics, log consultation and export features, device overview, and email alarm management. To this was added an appliance claiming system designed for the retail market, along with a platform configuration capable of supporting both business and end users in a single ecosystem of digital services.

03. The Results

Greater visibility into the status and operational behavior of connected UPS, enabling a more structured approach to remote monitoring, reading historical data, and event management. Thanks to a dedicated portal, device-specific applications, and centralized access to data, logs, and alarms, Riello UPS has built a stronger foundation for providing advanced digital services related to its installed base.
